Dance Bursaries for Boys aged 4-16
years
There have never been enough boys joining in dance classes, a situation that
persists in all dance forms.
Now, due to the generosity of Chichester artist Pam Dickson, I
am able to offer discretionary 3 month bursaries of entirely
free tuition for boys aged 4-16 years of age in the following locations, Eastbourne,
Lewes, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester. These classes may be the first rung on the ladder to a
professional dance career.
Pam Dickson, a professional artist and former pupil, has generously provided
funding for the scheme by painting a set of 8 greetings cards and donating all rights in the cards
to the scheme, a very generous gift. The cards are now on sale at London’s Sadlers Wells theatre
and will soon be appearing in selected shops in Sussex. ALL profits from the sale of the cards will
go to support the scheme.
